Should beach protection regulations be relaxed?

What is the issue?
The coastal protection regulations are being relaxed.
The Riksdag voted in favour of the government's proposal, which involves several relaxations in the coastal protection regulations. Among other things, small bodies of water and bodies of water created in modern times will no longer be covered by the general coastal protection.

The Riksdag voted on the proposal on 15 May 2025.
